Eleanora Sears and the Pony She Won in True Western Fashion

Eleanora Sears, best known of American sportswoman, wanted a new polo pony for the Coronado tournament —and she got one. And no check was drawn on the bank to pav for her “mount,” either.

Miss Sears who rattles the ivory cubes as well as she plays polo or golf, diverted herself the other evening by shaking dice with fashionable women at Coronado Beach. A polo pony was the stake, and Miss Sears now owns the pony. She will ride him in the tournament now in progress at the California winter resort.
