Twenty-four years later, she served a second term in the 77th Congress—and was no longer the sole woman in the House. Rankin (left) is shown with Congresswomen Frances Bolton of Ohio, Mary Norton of New Jersey, Margaret Chase Smith of Maine, and Edith Nourse Rogers of Massachusetts.”
