37 Included in Exhibition of Miss
Peggy Bacon.
Thirty-seven contemporary American celebrities are included in Miss in Peggy Bacon's art collection “Off With Their Heads,” which went on exhibition today, at the Art League of Washington, 1503 Twenty-first street.
Portraits of political and business world celebrities, such as President Roosevelt, Mayor La Guardia Rexford Guy Tugwell, Dr. Fred Howe, Bernard Gimbel and Mrs. Charles Sabin are included in the collection. From the world of art, music, theater and journalism are found portraits of Mrs. Juliana Force, Henry McBride, Sinclair Lewis, Lilian Gish, Dorothy Parker, George Gershwin, Heywood Broun and Art Young.
The exhibition will continue through March. The galleries open at 10 a.m. and close at 5:30 p.m. daily. Admission is free.
